It seems that you still have R 2.13 installed. You can try to upgrade to R 2.14, retry to install the parfm package and then please give us a feedback. Thanks, Federico |

Sorry for answering only now! I did not see your message until today... In fact an error occurred in compiling the package for Windows and Mac platforms, so these were not available to setup. We have updated the package, which is now quite stable (we hope), so you should be able to install it now. Please, try again with this new version and let we know whether it is ok or not. Federico |

sorry if I'm missing something obvious - i am relatively knew to R, but when i run the command install.packages("parfm", repos=c("http://R-forge.R-project.org", "http://www.freestatistics.org/cran/"), dep=TRUE) I get the error message: Warning: unable to access index for repository http://R-forge.R-project.org/bin/windows/contrib/2.13 Warning message: In getDependencies(pkgs, dependencies, available, lib) : package ‘parfm’ is not available (for R version 2.13.0) Can you please advice? Much appreciated, Matthias |
