The popular time series software jmulti (www.jmulti.de) makes the transition to R. Currently
it is based on a Java GUI and the Gauss Runtime Engine. For jmultiR the Gauss code is going to be translated and rewritten in R. We hope that this makes the tool more portable and easier to extend.
Furthermore, jmultiR will use the excellent R graphics engine to be competitive with other tools in the domain.
